Will colors or HDR look identical?▾
JPEG is 8-bit SDR on the decoded bitmap — wide-gamut or HDR metadata from HEIC is not preserved in the same way as the original container.
Does EXIF orientation apply?▾
Decoding usually applies orientation so the preview matches your gallery.
Can I convert HEIC to PNG?▾

Why is the JPEG bigger than the HEIC?▾
